Handtied Extensions

Do you struggle with thin hair? Do you struggle to get your hair to grow past a certain length? Extensions are a great way to add fullness and or length to all hair types.

Ann Arbor hair extensions. Hair extensions. Hand-tied extensions

Why use a handtied method?

Handtied Extensions are the best way to give you the hair you've always dreamed of. The wefts of hair are sewn in so there is no damage from glues or tapes. The wefts are sewn to a beaded foundation. The hair is strategically placed so that the beads are invisible. The way the beads are placed creates even distribution for the wefts, creating more comfort with your extensions.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is not a one size fits all. Pricing ranges from $600-$2000 depending on several variables including: length of hair desired and amount of wefts needed.
For someone who is wanting to add fullness, I would suggest one row with anywhere from 3-5 wefts.
If you are wanting a full transformation adding both length and fullness I would suggest 2 rows. That would require 6-10 wefts all evenly distributed to create a natural blend.
All installations will include custom coloring to ensure a perfect match to your hair color.

How long does the hair last?

With proper care at home care and recommended products your extension hair will last anywhere from 7-12 months. You will receive all the information as well as a goody bag to help you take care of your new investment.

What does the Maintenance look like?

As your hair grows, the extensions will need to be moved up. Your first move up appointment after installation will be scheduled for 6 weeks. At that time I will remove your extensions, wash and dry and then reapply. Any color needed can be done at that time as well. After that appointment move up appointments will be scheduled anywhere from 6-10 weeks. It is not recommended to go longer than 10 weeks between move ups.
1 row move up is $200
2 row move up is $300

How do I take care of them?

Choosing to invest in extensions does not need to change your routine. You can still work out, and wear your hair up.
-Brush daily. You will need to brush at least twice a day.
-After washing make sure to dry the top of the weft thoroughly.
-Sleep with your hair in a low ponytail or braid.
-If swimming, make sure to wet hair prior with tap water or leave in conditioner. Or better yet, don't get your hair wet.
-Use a deep conditioner every other week.
